Your regulator is the one piece of kit you rely on for every breath, so it's worth getting a good one. We stock regulator sets from Scubapro, Apeks, Mares and more, and we service regulators in-house so we can look after yours for years to come.

      Questions about Regulators

DIN or INT (yoke): which do I need?

It depends on your cylinder valve. DIN screws into the valve and is common in the UK and Ireland, especially for higher-pressure cylinders. INT (yoke) clamps over the valve and is common on holiday dive centres abroad. Many divers choose DIN and carry an adapter for travel.

Do I need a cold water regulator?

For diving in Irish and UK waters, yes. A regulator that's environmentally sealed or rated for cold water is much less likely to freeflow in low temperatures.

How often should a regulator be serviced?

Follow the manufacturer's service interval, which is usually every one or two years depending on the brand and how much you dive. We service regulators in-house.

Does a regulator set include an octopus and gauge?

It depends on the set, so check the description. Our regulator and octopus packages and BCD and regulator packages include everything you need.
