Membrane or neoprene drysuit?
Membrane (trilaminate) drysuits are light, quick-drying and easy to travel with, and you control your warmth with undersuits. Neoprene drysuits are warmer on their own and more flexible, but heavier and slower to dry.
Do I need training to dive in a drysuit?
Yes, we recommend it. The PADI Dry Suit Diver specialty teaches you to control your buoyancy and handle your suit safely. We run it here on the North Coast.
What do I wear under a drysuit?
A thermal undersuit, chosen to suit the water temperature. Many divers add a base layer in winter.
