Great to show our amazing coastline and show some of the GoT sites filmed from our boats. International journalists from around the world

Top international travel journalists and bloggers have been visiting Northern Ireland this week, checking out Northern Ireland’s connection with Game of Thrones. Sixteen (16) travel media from the US, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Belgium, Canada, the UAE and China were invited here by Tourism Ireland, in conjunction with Tourism NI. They have a combined audience of millions of readers.

The journalists’ action-packed itinerary included a visit to the new Game of Thrones Exhibition at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, as well an immersive Game of Thrones tour at Castle Ward, and a Game of Thrones-themed banquet at The Cuan in Strangford. They also travelled along the Causeway Coastal Route, stopping at various filming locations and tourist ‘hotspots’ including the harbour at Carnlough, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the Giant’s Causeway, Downhill Beach and the Dark Hedges. One of the highlights of their trip was a Game of Thrones sea safari from Ballycastle to Ballintoy, which provided a unique opportunity to view filming locations from the sea.
